Betfred League One returns for Round 12 this Sunday, as the race to the Play-Offs continues…
Newcastle Thunder are at home to Oldham – a side who are on the road again this weekend. Thunder are still searching for their first win of the season, and were beaten heavily by Oldham last month in their last meeting. At Gateshead however, Newcastle have won their last three home meetings with the Roughyeds.
Sean Long’s men enjoyed a last gasp win in North Wales in Round 11 and have only tasted defeat once this season so far. What will happen in Round 12?
North Wales Crusaders have another home tie in Round 12, and this time they welcome Workington Town to Colwyn Bay. The Crusaders came close against Oldham in Round 11, agonisingly losing out after a dramatic Danny Craven drop goal in the 79th minute.
They will be hoping to bounce straight back in front of their home crowd, as a win for the Crusaders would see them overtake Town in the league table.
Workington have won their last two away meetings with North Wales, but it is North Wales who won 10-26 last time out.
Cornwall are in action at home to Rochdale Hornets. The Choughs were triumphant at The Memorial Ground in Round 11 and secured their first home win of 2024 in emphatic fashion. Can they make it back-to-back wins for the first time this year, or will the Hornets record a fourth consecutive win?
The final fixture sees Hunslet and Midlands battle it out for two points in Round 12. The sides have already met once in 2024, with Hunslet clinching a 26-30 victory at the Alexander Stadium.
This time, they will have home advantage and will hope to keep a hold of third spot in the league. Midlands however, will look to climb as high as fourth with a victory.
